Counter Help

Job Description:

When you work the Front Counter at Rices Fruit Farm, you’ll be the first face that greets our customers as they walk in the door. The Cashier will work with a large team, managing all monetary transactions with customers quickly, accurately, and efficiently to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. The individual(s) will also be responsible for bagging, or boxing products. As well as receiving payments in the form of cash, credit, debit, and gift cards. They’ll also learn how to issue gift cards and product receipts upon request.

Requirements:

  • Must possess Good Verbal Communication skills
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours a week
  • 16 Years or Older
  • Evening and Weekend Availability are required

Coffee Barista

Job Description: Prepares and Serves beverages such as hot and iced coffee, lattes, teas, ciders, and other specialty drinks. The Rice’s Coffee Barista will work with other Baristas to help take drink orders and provide timely and accurate service to all customers.

The Barista will also be responsible for cleaning the equipment, replenishing the coffee bean supply, stocking the coffee stations, and maintaining an organized amount of supplies.

Ice Cream Server

Job Description:

As a Rices Ice Cream Server, you’ll be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Greeting guests and taking Ice Cream and Milkshake orders
  • Maintaining Dairy Inventory as all of our Ice Cream is Homemade
  • Collecting Payments from Customers
  • Informing customers on what products are in which flavors, as well as being aware of possible cross-contamination and allergens
  • Suggesting Specialty Flavor of the Month
  • Practicing safe scooping techniques as well as sanitation practices before and after each order

Requirements:

  • Must possess Good Verbal Communication skills
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours a week
  • 16 Years or Older
  • Evening and Weekend Availability are required
